Kyungwon Ferrite Ind. Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of electronic components and isotropic ferrite magnets. The company is currently the largest producer of isotropic ferrite magnets in Korea and has already commercialized a number of newly developed piezoelectric ceramic products.
More than 6% of the company's revenues are reinvested in R&D, with a focus on the development of new materials such as piezoelectric ceramics and special magnetic materials. As a result, Kyungwon Ferrite has developed not only NdFeB bonded magnets and AlNiCo magnets, but also anisotropic ferrite magnets for special small motors.
Established in 1980, Kyungwon Ferrite Ind. Co., Ltd. employs more than 140 employees, including a dozen highly skilled researchers, two quality assurance staff, and many production engineers. Total annual sales are around USD13 million, about 30 percent of which is derived from exports to Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Iran, India, Hong Kong, and other markets worldwide.
